The National Federation of Independent Business, Georgia’s leading small-business association, has endorsed Dr. Kay Kirkpatrick in the 32nd District Senate race. The endorsement comes from the NFIB Georgia PAC.
“Kay Kirkpatrick is the obvious choice for small-business owners, their employees, and their families,” said Nathan Humphrey, state director of NFIB.
“Kay Kirkpatrick understands firsthand how unnecessary rules and regulations can be a burden and raise the cost of running a small business,” Humphrey said. “She will bring her experience in the healthcare field and in running a business to the Senate.
“NFIB believes she will be a strong advocate for Georgia’s small businesses by working to cut regulations, lower taxes and fighting to a legal climate that’s fair and balanced.”
The NFIB Georgia PAC’s endorsement is critical to Kay Kirkpatrick’s campaign. Small business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB has pledged it will activate its grassroots network on behalf of the campaign. NFIB’s political support is based on candidates’ positions and records on small business issues.
