The National Federation of
Independent Business/Ohio (NFIB/Ohio), the state’s leading small business
association representing 25,000 entrepreneurs, is proud to announce its endorsement of Candice Keller, who is seeking election to Ohio’s 53rd House
District seat. The district is home to 156 dues paying members of NFIB/Ohio. This
endorsement today comes from the NFIB/Ohio SAFE Trust, the organization’s
political action committee.
Keller comes from a family of
small-business owners. With four small
businesses in Keller’s family, her shared perspective with Ohio’s entrepreneurs
allows her to understand the issues advocated for and against by NFIB/Ohio. Keller understands that it is not the government that creates jobs, but the
entrepreneurs in Ohio, and is an advocate for cutting taxes and lowering the
cost of doing business in the state. Those ideas are embraced by the membership
as shown by the results of NFIB/Ohio’s surveying of small-business owners
throughout Ohio.
“Candice Keller has been approved through NFIB/Ohio’s member-driven
process that thoroughly reviews candidates’ records, stated positions and
understanding of small-business issues before an endorsement is issued,” said Roger R. Geiger, vice
president and executive director of NFIB/Ohio. “With her small business
background, she will help to make Ohio an even better place for entrepreneurs
to own, operate and grow their businesses. We look forward to working with her when
she is elected this November.”
