Date: April 18, 2018

Small business association releases its first round of endorsements for House and Senate races

On April 18, NFIB took the first step in its 2018 election activities by endorsing 22 incumbent state lawmakers for re-election. Recent appointees, challengers, and candidates running in open seats will be considered in the coming months.

“It is critically important that once elected to public office, legislators demonstrate their understanding of the issues most important to Main Street and acknowledge the challenges that small businesses face in our state,” said Anthony K. Smith, Oregon state director for the National Federation of Independent Business. “These lawmakers have a proven track-record of consistent support for Oregon’s entrepreneurs.”

The endorsements were made by the NFIB Oregon Political Action Committee.
