Why You Should Participate in Small Business Saturday

Massachusetts’ Small
Business Saturday will be held on Nov. 26, 2016, and you can support
the Commonwealth’s small business and entrepreneur community by participating
in this day and encouraging Massachusetts residents to “shop small.”

Small
Business Saturday is critical to driving consumer traffic to small
retailers and generally increasing revenue for Massachusetts’ small businesses
during the very important holiday retail season. By shopping local and small,
the majority of money stays within the community, encouraging economic growth
within the state. When we support small businesses, jobs are created and the
unique culture of local communities is strengthened and preserved. NFIB offers
member small business owners access to services that will help you succeed, but
more than anything, small businesses need customers.

Small Business Saturday
provides an opportunity to honor and celebrate the hardworking men and women
who are creating jobs and fueling the economy in Massachusetts. NFIB urges
Massachusetts residents to support these small businesses on Small Business
Saturday and throughout the holiday season.
