Looking to start or expand a small business? These three cities have the economic climate to make you a success, according to a new report.
Florida’s increasingly friendly climate for small business has landed three of the state’s cities on a list of the best economic launching pads nationwide.
Miami-Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa-St Petersburg are among the top-25 cities for small business in 2016, according to a new report by Biz2Credit, an online funding marketplace.
The survey looked at variables such as annual small business revenue, business owners’ personal credit scores, cash flow, and other factors, including GDP. Here’s how the cities ranked:

Miami-Fort Lauderdale received claimed the biggest comeback award, as one of the cities nationwide that made the biggest improvements in a year-to-year comparison.
“Miami is thriving because of the construction boom and its growth as a tourist destination,” said Arora. “Additionally, it acts as a gateway to Latin America. If relations continue to normalize with Cuba, its strategic importance will only continue to grow.”
San Jose finished first in the nation.
