NFIB/Iowa Inducts New Leadership Council Members

The Leadership Council of NFIB IA met and inducted 5 new members to the Council bringing the group to 16 voting members.

In addition to the regular order of business, the Council was joined by State Representative Guy Vander Linden, Chairman of the House Ways & Means Committee. Chairman Vander Linden covered topics ranging from tax relief for small business to a general outlook of activities that may occur in the 2018 legislative session at the Iowa Capitol.  NFIB IA staff also confirmed a new series of roundtable meetings with State and Federal Legislators beginning in November. 

These roundtable meetings are meant to be discussion between NFIB members and their elected officials to talk about issues facing small businesses from all different industries from all around Iowa.  Please keep an eye out in your email in-box for official invitations to these various meetings.
