Small Business Testifies on Obamacare

The numerous difficulties small-business owners face in complying with Obamacare were outlined for the Joint Committee for Administrative Regulation Review of the Alaska Legislature at its meeting in Fairbanks, August 27.

Dr. Bob Graboyes, NFIB’s senior fellow for health and economics, by phone from Washington D.C. encapsulated the many unknowns still facing small-business owners as two important dates loom in complying with the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare): The October 1 start date for the health-insurance exchange contained in the law and the Jan. 1, 2014, start date for full compliance.
