NFIB Partners with Governor on Veteran Owned Businesses Program

Date: February 08, 2016 Last Edit: February 17, 2016

NFIB/Alabama is partnering with Gov. Robert Bentley’s office to promote the state’s “Veteran Owned Business” program.

The sticker project, a collaborative effort between the governor’s Alabama Small Business Commission and the Alabama Executive Veterans Network, is providing stickers to let customers know whether a business is owned by a veteran.

The governor said veterans own about 25,000 small businesses in Alabama, according to the U.S. Census.

If you’re a veteran and would like a sticker to display at your small business, contact NFIB/Alabama Member Support Manager Mary Jane Rodes at [email protected] or 404-522-1290.
