Recent primary results are only prolonging the race for the Democratic nomination.
For as much as has been said about the Republican Party being fractured, broken, or even dead—its counterpart across the aisle hasn’t looked much better.
During the May 17 primaries, Hillary Clinton marginally won Kentucky while Bernie Sanders claimed a strong victory in Oregon. And Sanders made it clear that he won’t bow out anytime soon, saying he is “in ‘til the last ballot is cast,” according to NBC.

Despite the strong showing, Sanders’ chances at the nomination still looks slim. With 2,289 delegates, Clinton is rapidly nearing the 2,383 needed to win the Democratic nomination, CNN reported.
Sanders’ success in Oregon “creates an opportunity to claim moral high ground and helps him continue to justify his presence in the race, even though winning the nomination remains effectively out of reach,” according to The Atlantic.
Small Business Issues
Clinton has rarely mentioned the Vermont senator in her latest speeches and has instead focused on the general election, including a recent attack on Trump for his proposal to repeal Obamacare, Bloomberg reported.
Sanders, meanwhile, attacked both Trump and Clinton in his Tuesday night speech, criticizing Trump’s minimum wage and tax policies, as well as his recent flip-flopping. “Federal minimum wage of $7.25 is a starvation wage,” Sanders said. “Clinton wants to raise [the minimum wage] to $12. That is okay. But it is not good enough.”
