What first attracted you to NFIB as an employer?
I answered an ad that offered an attractive income. I knew nothing about NFIB before answering the ad.
What do you like most about working at NFIB?
The money, the freedom and the camaraderie.
How does NFIB help you realize your personal goals?
The money and freedom allow me to provide well for my family and spend time with them, two of my most important goals. They also allow me to be a leader in my community and church.
How do the mission and values of NFIB align with your own?
I have always believed, even before working with NFIB, that "honesty, integrity, and respect for human and spiritual values are important in all aspects of life" (the seventh NFIB core value); therefore, I rejoice in the fact that NFIB espouses those principles as some of their own.
How do the employee benefits you receive help you reach your personal financial goals?
I am currently taking advantage of the tuition reimbursement program to pursue an MBA. It has always been my dream to obtain an MBA, and NFIB is helping me do it. It is a great program that has revitalized my career and mission in life.
What kind of positive relationship with co-workers and/or members have you created?
The friendships with co-workers that I have created within NFIB have been one of the reasons that I stay with NFIB. I have developed friendships with co-workers over the years that have solidified my career with NFIB. I have discovered that those that are top performers have my same beliefs and values, and I enjoy associating with them as much as possible. Therefore, I strive each day in my work to win those trips where I know they will be attending.
To what kind of person would you recommend a career at NFIB?
I would recommend NFIB to someone who sees the great amount of money to be earned at NFIB as an opportunity to bless others, i.e., their family, community and church.
Have you been recognized as a high achiever at NFIB? If so, how does that recognition increase your job satisfaction and personal satisfaction?
One of the strengths of NFIB is its ability to recognize high achievers. When the organization is able to recognize the high achievers, it reflects what it thinks of its reps and the knowledge of how difficult the job can be. This ability has been a great motivator to continue to work hard and honestly.
