YET ANOTHER ROUND OF OBAMACARE REGULATIONS PROMPTS SMALL BUSINESS SEMINARS

DES MOINES (August 27, 2015): The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) is hosting a series of meetings next week aimed at empowering small business owners in the wake of Obamacare as new regulations are set to be implemented in 2016.
“Small businesses in Iowa have been confounded by the Obamacare mandate and the hits just keep on coming,” Said NFIB Iowa State Director, Kristin Failor. “Our goal next week is to help our entrepreneurs understand what the implementation of the latest regulations means for their day to day operations and their bottom lines.”
Presentations will be done from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m. by Doug Jackson of Wellmark in Davenport, Dubuque and Pella. The cost, which includes lunch, is $10 per person. They will take place on Monday August 31st at the Radisson Quad City Plaza in Davenport, Tuesday September 2nd at Westmark Development in Dubuque and at Central College in Pella on Wednesday, September 2nd.
“Obamacare has placed unprecedented demands on the small business community in Iowa. Unfortunately the only option we are left with is to arm the thousands of members that we have here with the correct information so that they are able to comply in as painless a way as possible,” Concluded Failor.
