Help Shape 2015 NFIB/Alaska Member Ballot

NFIB’s reputation as the true Voice of Small Business comes first and foremost from its state and federal member ballots. Results from these annual polls center NFIB’s lobbying positions in both Washington D.C. and in Juneau.

The results are communicated to the media throughout Alaska and are used in legislative testimony in support of the small-business agenda. Many legislators and administration officials also use them to support policies and viewpoints they hold.

With the 29th session of the Alaska Legislature convening in January, 2015 it’s not too early to start the conversation on what questions should be asked on the next ballot.

NFIB/Alaska State Director Denny DeWitt invites you to send him your thoughts on some of the most pressing small-business issues facing the state for possible inclusion in the 2015 Alaska Member State Ballot. Click here to read the results from last year’s ballot to get an idea of what was on members’ minds.

Have any of those issues changed? What new ones have cropped up? Is an old issue resurfacing? Join in the discussion; send an email to Denny with your thoughts.

NFIB is regarded as one of the most credible associations in the nation, because it knows of what it speaks, and that is only on issues affecting the ability of its members to own, operate and grow their businesses. Click here to see the issues we don’t take stands on and why.
