WATCH: NFIB/Louisiana State Director Slams Minimum Wage Bill

Date: March 28, 2014

Speaking on the March edition of Louisiana Public Broadcasting’s “Louisiana Public Square,” Dawn Starns outlined small businesses’ concerns over a proposed increase in the state minimum wage.

At about the 5:45 mark, Starns says an overwhelming majority of NFIB/Louisiana members oppose a wage increase and that an increase in the cost of labor would hurt small businesses and lead to a drop in employment. Producers also interviewed NFIB/Louisiana Leadership Council member Pat Felder.
