Thank the House Economic Matters Committee for voting against two anti-small business bills

Date: March 31, 2015

NFIB/MD has been working on defeating so the so called “Strict Scheduling” bill and the “Equal Pay” bill, both of which would have put a huge strain on small businesses. Both bills received an unfavorable report from the House Economic Matters Committee in a unanimous 20-0 vote. Thank you to all of our members who contacted your legislators about these important issues, your efforts do make a difference.

It’s important that
we show our gratitude to these members and encourage them to continue to
vote to support small business owners. Please contact the members of the committee and thank them for standing up for small business in Maryland.
