Sylvester Smith, state director of the National Federation of Independent Business, released the following statement tonight in response to Tom Cotton’s election to the U.S. Senate:
“This is a big victory for Arkansas’ small businesses. As a member of the U.S. House, Tom Cotton earned a 100-pecent NFIB voting record. He supports the issues that matter to our members, like undoing the costly damage down to small businesses by Obamacare and reining in overzealous regulators. Our members are looking forward to working with him in the Senate to pass legislation that gives Main Street Arkansas the confidence it needs to expand and create jobs.”
NFIB is the state’s leading small-business association with over 4,000 dues-paying members across Arkansas representing a cross section of the state’s economy.
