Special Member Briefing: Lawsuits

Date: August 05, 2015

You are invited to hear the latest on four court cases related to the operation of your business, one of which is still to be decided.
Slip and fall, marijuana in the workplace, and the shifting around of your money. Those issues have – we hope, but are never fully sure – been decided. The broadside on the Taxpayer Bill of Rights has not.
NFIB invites its members to a special briefing for them, and invited media guests, on the status of four very important cases related to all businesses, but smaller ones in particular.
For the past two years, Colorado has been lawsuit central in the United States on issues directly relating to the health and welfare of small business.
On August 19, Luke Wake, senior staff attorney for NFIB’s Small Business Legal Center; Jeff Weist, legislative director for the Civil Justice League; and Jason Dunn, counselor on business law and politics for Brownstein Hyatt Farber Shreck, will provide NFIB members with the analysis of relevant court cases regarding their enterprises.
There is no cost to attend, but a reservation is required and can be made by email here or by calling NFIB Member Support Manager Stephanie Wentz at 303-831-6099.
