Small-Business Luncheon on Overreaching EPA Regulations is Oct. 7 in Jackson

Date: September 29, 2014

Join us Oct. 7 in Jackson for a Liberty Luncheon and discussion on overreaching EPA regulations.
The Environmental Protection Agency has proposed regulations that would affect your business and your land.
Federal regulators are expanding their authority over U.S. waters to include farmers’ ponds, seasonal streams and even temporary bodies of water that most Americans would call puddles.

“Most everyone’s land use is threatened and you’ll likely be subject to their costly red tape, control and increased litigation,” said Ron Aldridge, state director of NFIB/Mississippi. “NFIB is supporting legislation to stop this overreach.”

Tuesday, October 7, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
The Capital Club
125 S. Congress St.
Jackson, MS 39201
Space is limited. To make reservations, contact Sarah Waters at [email protected] or 615-872-5331.
Presented by NFIB/Mississippi, Farm Bureau Mississippi and Mississippi Center for Public Policy.
