Small Business Endorses Frederick J. Akshar for Senate
ALBANY – New York’s leading small business
association, the National Federation of Independent Business, has endorsed Frederick
J. Akshar in the 52nd Senate district.
“In this critical race, Fred Akshar is the leader small business and taxpayers need in the
State Senate. Fred understands the significant challenges facing small business,
both in the Southern Tier and across New York. He understands that helping
small employers are the key to our economic success and he will fight the
policies that continue to stifle Main Street.
From his call to reduce New York’s sizable tax burden to his push to
reduce the senseless red tape, Fred Akshar is the right choice for small
business,” said NFIB/New York State Director
Mike Durant.
Small business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are
known for actively recruiting friends, family members and acquaintances to go
to the polls.
NFIB’s political support is based on the candidate’s position and
record on small-business issues. Akshar’s endorsement comes from the
NFIB/New York SAFE (Save America’s Free Enterprise) Trust, the political action
committee for NFIB/New York’s membership. The endorsement puts the considerable
grassroots support of the state’s small businesses behind the Akshar campaign.
