Small Business Day at the Capitol, Tomorrow

DENVER, Colo., March 18, 2015—Representatives of the engine of Colorado’s economy will converge on the State Capitol, tomorrow, Thursday, March 19 to take part in NFIB’s annual Small Business Day at the Capitol.
The day’s events begin at 8 a.m. in the Old Supreme Court Chambers in the State Capitol and will feature top legislative leaders speaking to entrepreneurs from around the state. That session will run until 10 a.m. Confirmed and invited speakers include Senate President Bill Cadman, Senate Majority Leader Mark Sheffel, Senator Jessie Ulibarri, Senator Laura Woods, House Minority Leader Brian DelGrosso and Rep. Dan Pabon.
Steve Keen, NFIB’s manager of legislative affairs for the U.S. Senate, and Tony Gagliardi, NFIB/Colorado state director will give attendees a rundown of the top federal and state issues vital to small-business survival from 10:25 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
TV Network Chef Keegan Gerhard of Denver and Phil Kalin, president and CEO of Pinnacol Assurance, will give luncheon addresses to NFIB members at Randolph’s Restaurant at the Warwick Hotel, 1776 Grant St., starting at 12:15 p.m.
Gagliardi and NFIB/Colorado Leadership Council Chairman Roger Hays will give concluding remarks from 1:15 p.m. to 1:55 p.m.
Reporters and editors are invited to attend any or all of tomorrow’s events.
