Today NFIB member Bob Prybutok
, President & CEO at Polymer
Technologies Inc.,
spoke on a panel about the
future of manufacturing. The event titled, “
The Future of Manufacturing in Delaware: How the
current regulatory environment impacts its sustainability and growth with U.S.
Senator Chris Coons”
was hosted by Delaware
Chamber of Commerce
and the Delaware Manufacturing Association. We appreciate the valuable input and comments Bob offered
today during the panel discussion.

Generally,
panel members said there are four
key topics that need to be addressed to improve manufacturing in “The First State”; 1.) Regulations
and utilization of land 2.) Education and the skills of the workforce 3.) Cost
of utilities, especially electricity 4.) Right to Work laws.

Sen.
Coons
spoke and participated in a Q&A session with attendees. He offered
support for the manufacturing community saying that he enjoys trying to find a
path forward for manufacturing and that manufacturing isn’t a partisan issue.
