Small Business Day is April 14 in Baton Rouge

NFIB/Louisiana Small Business Day at the
Capitol will be April 14 in Baton Rouge.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about what’s happening in Baton Rouge and speak out about the issues that affect your small business.

Speakers will include:

  • Chuck Kleckley, speaker of the Louisiana House
  • Stephen Moret, secretary of Louisiana Economic Development
  • Michael Bertaut, health-care exchange coordinator and health-care economist with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana.
  • Dawn Starns, the new state director of NFIB/Louisiana

Small Business Day will begin at 2:45 p.m. with a trip to the State Capitol then continue with sessions at the lieutenant governor’s apartment at the Pentagon Barracks. Small Business Day will conclude with a legislative reception at 5. The cost to attend Small Business is $30.
