Bill increases damages on small business with 15-100 employees
The Florida Senate is working on a Pregnancy Workplace
Discrimination Bill this afternoon, and the bill has a serious flaw: it
actually increases damages on small businesses with between 15 and 100 employees,
while decreasing the damages on big businesses with over 500 employees!
NFIB is supporting and amendment by Sen. Kelly Stargel to
correct this, but your State Senator needs to hear from you TODAY, asking them
to support the Stargel Amendment to SB 220, so that small businesses do not
have their liability exposure increased.
