Panelists Announced for Omaha Senate Forum

LINCOLN, Neb., April 18, 2014—Three panelists with extensive expertise on Nebraska’s economy were announced today for the upcoming U.S. Senate candidates’ forum on Tuesday, April 22 at the Omaha Sheraton Hotel.

The event will feature all seven Democratic and Republican candidates for the U.S. Senate on the May 13 Primary Election ballot. It is being co-sponsored by the National Federation of Independent Business, the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce, Nebraska Farm Bureau, Business-Industry Political Action Committee and the National Association of Manufacturers.

The panelists will be:

  • Jessica Kolterman, director of governmental relations for the Nebraska Farm Bureau
  • Steve Seline, chairman of the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce
  • Bob Hallstrom, Nebraska state director for the National Federation of Independent Business, America’s Voice of Small Business.
Questions for the candidates will include the minimum wage, regulations, health care and taxes.
