NFIB/NY Pleased to Partner with the Rockland Business Association

Date: July 18, 2014

On July 17th, NFIB/NY State Director Mike Durant was invited to address the Rockland Business Association.  While much of the discussion focused on the political and economic realities for small business in New York, a theme of cooperation and collaboration among business organizations was also at the forefront.

We all…through collaboration…through working together will create that needed sense of urgency and will educate Albany …and we can create that organic economic environment that is hospitable to businesses of all shapes and sizes…that creates prosperity…that transforms New York.” – NFIB/NY’s Mike Durant

Following the address, Rockland Business Association President and CEO Al Samuels announced that the RBA will be a new member of NFIB and that is has been “long overdue” to create this necessary strategic partnership.
