NFIB/NY Elects Officers to Leadership Council

The NFIB/NY Leadership Council last week elected Seth Arluck, Owner of New Hampton Lumber, as Chair and John Vero, Partner at Couch White, as Vice-Chair of the Council. Officers of the Leadership Council serve two- year terms.

Seth Arluck is a third-generation business owner and has been an NFIB member since 1997. Seth is active in the National Retail Lumber Association (NRLA) and regularly advocates on behalf of small business owners in both Albany, NY and Washington, DC.

John Vero is a member of Couch White’s Banking, Commercial Litigation, Corporate Transactions and Real Estate practice groups. John is actively involved in the community as a member of the City of Albany Industrial Development Agency and the Capital Resource Corporation. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Central Avenue Business Improvement District

The Leadership Council advises the state director, assists in the development of the organization’s legislative agenda and helps to create strategies that support small businesses throughout New York State. Officers of the Leadership Council are nominated by NFIB’s state director or current members and elected by the Council.
