Business Owners Gathered in Harrington to Discuss Small Business Issues

Date: April 21, 2015

NFIB Members, small business owners, and legislators gathered at member, Jason Dean’s business, JD Sign Company, to discuss small business issues on Monday April 20. Attendees heard from Carrie Leishman, President & CEO, Delaware Restaurant Association, about the push for a dramatic increase in Delaware’s minimum wage — on top of the increase that’s just taken place. Small business owners also had a chance to have a group conversation with state legislators about the regulations and laws affecting them.

Thank you to the following legislators for their dedication to the small business community, who attended our event:
Senator Brian Pettyjohn
Senator Bryant Richardson
House Minority Leader Danny Short
Representative Lyndon Yearick
Representative Ruth Briggs King
