Tom Scott, NFIB/CA State Director issued the following
statement today in response to Governor Jerry Brown signing Assembly Bill 1506
(Hernandez).
“We are pleased that Governor Brown saw the importance of
providing employers with an opportunity to fix technical violations on wage
statements before being sued by employees. Many small businesses owners serve
as the human resources department for their businesses among other roles. This
bill will allow them fix technical errors – that they may be unaware of – within
a specified amount of time.”
