Date: February 03, 2014

Madison (February 3, 2014) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) and the Wisconsin Restaurant Association (WRA) invite small business owners from around the state to attend an exclusive briefing on the Walker Administration’s 2014 economic initiatives this Thursday, February 6, 2014, at 7:45 am in the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center in Madison.

NFIB members and nonmembers are welcomed.  Keynote speaker Mike Huebsch, the Wisconsin Secretary of Administration, will brief participants and take questions on the state of the economy and important policy initiatives that will affect small businesses.  Joe Knilans, Co-Director of the Wisconsin Office of Business Development will also provide an update on how their department can assist small business.

“This is a valuable opportunity for small business owners to hear directly from the state officials about the policies and trends that affect the economy,” said NFIB Wisconsin State Director Bill G. Smith.  “The Walker administration has been very accessible to NFIB and WRA members and we’d like nonmembers to have the same opportunity.”
