NFIB to Co-Host Health-Care Symposium in Bristol Sept. 22

NFIB is one of the planners and participants in this year’s health-care symposium presented by the Wellmont Health System, the Appalachian School of Law and the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership.  

The symposium will be held on Monday, Sept. 22, at Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, Tenn.

The agenda will address the future of health care and will bring diverse stakeholders together to engage in an informed and spirited discussion about one of the most pressing challenges facing our country and our businesses today. 
Karen Harned, executive director for NFIB’s Small Business Legal Center, will moderate a panel focusing on how businesses’ are faring with the implementation of the Affordable Care Act.

Also participating as a panelist will be NFIB/Virginia member Debbie Stocks, president of Your Benefits Partner, an insurance and employee benefit company.
