NFIB Pennsylvania Member Profile: White's Harley Davidson in Lebanon

Date: August 31, 2015

White’s Harley Davidson began in a Lebanon Pennsylvania barn.  Today it’s an impressive building with a vast
showroom offering everything Harley.

Joseph White’s father passed away when he was just 25.  He and his mother ran the business .  They bought land moved to a bigger store,
then doubled the size of the showroom.
She passed away and he has expanded to other locations since then.

Joseph says his parents taught him many lessons and he
followed one bit of advice from his father about growing the business. “He said
stay small or get big because being in the middle is not a great place to be
because you have a lot of headaches.”

The Whites now also own Iron Valley and Chester Springs
Harley Davidson. Recently they hosted an NFIB meeting for other small business
owners there with Congressman Ryan Costello.

Joe and Donna White’s workdays don’t end each evening or
even on weekends, but it’s been a great ride. Joe says there are many events, open
houses and happenings with the local Harley club to attend, but he’s done it
since he was a kid…eat, live and breathe Harley.
