This year we had a packed house and a fantastic line up of speakers for
Maryland Small Business Day. As one attendee said, “It was an awesome
turn out, very exciting”.
The event opened with a networking
breakfast and a meet and greet with Maryland Legislators. Delegates and
Senators from across the state were happy to have the chance to meet
many of their small business owner constituents. Attendees heard rousing
speeches from Governor Larry Hogan, Secretary of Labor Kelly Schulz, Comptroller Peter Franchot, NFIB member Delegate Chris Adams, and Secretary of Business and Economic Development Mike Gill.
“The speakers
were uplifting and exciting and made me feel like we are on the right track for
a change!” an attendee said.
