NFIB Launches Radio Campaign Urging Voters to Support Small Business

Date: October 27, 2015

Tom Underwood, state director of the National Federation of Independent Business, said today the commonwealth’s leading small-business association has launched a radio ad campaign urging voters to support the candidates who will support small, family businesses.
“Small business is what keeps this state running,” Underwood said. “We need to elect the candidates who will support small businesses by supporting sensible regulations and opposing higher taxes.”
The campaign is sponsored by NFIB/Kentucky, which has over 4,000 dues-paying members throughout the commonwealth, representing a cross section of the economy.

RICH GIMMEL
: My name is Rich Gimmel, and I own Atlas Machine and Supply, a 107-year-old, fourth-generation, family-owned manufacturer in Louisville, and we’ve been a member of the National Federation of Independent Business for as long as I can remember. I know first hand how hard the NFIB fights for businesses like mine. They know that small business is the real job creator and, like me, they support candidates who feel the same way, candidates who are willing to stand up and fight to cut the burdensome regulations that government piles on us. Candidates who will tell the politicians in Frankfort to get their own financial house in order and cut spending before they even think about raising tax on small business.

ANNOUNCER: On Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, vote for small business. Go to NFIB.com/Kentucky and see where the candidates stand when it comes to small business. Paid for by the National Federation of Independent Business, and not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s committee.
