The National Federation of Independent Business,
California’s and the nation’s leading small business association, today
announced the endorsement of Mario Guerra for Senate District 32.
“NFIB is very proud to endorse Mario Guerra for the State Senate,” said John Kabateck, NFIB/CA executive director. “He understands the important role small businesses play in our state and what needs to be done to save California’s economy and jobs. He has proven as a leader in his own city that stemming the wave of out-of-control spending, onerous regulations, and frivolous lawsuits – and giving mom and pops more opportunities to succeed – paves the way to recovery. We know that he will apply that same business acumen and dedication as a member of the Senate.”
NFIB has more than 23,000 dues-paying members in California representing a cross-section of the state’s economy. The endorsement comes from NFIB’s SAFE (Save America’s Free Enterprise) Trust, the organization’s political action committee, and is based on positions regarding key small-business issues including health care, taxes, labor and regulatory issues.
Small business owners and their employees vote in high
numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members and
acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB
will encourage its members to help turn out the small-business vote for
candidates in the June 3 primary and again in November.
