The National Federation of Independent Business, North Carolina’s leading small-business association, said today it has endorsed David Rouzer for Congress in the 7th District.
“As a small businessman and former state legislator, David Rouzer knows what it takes to create a pro-small business climate,” said Gregg Thompson, state director of NFIB/North Carolina.
“During his time in the state Senate, David Rouzer consistently supported pro-small business legislation,” Thompson said. “His record shows us that he supports the issues that matter most to small business.”
“That’s why we need to send David Rouzer to Congress,” Thompson said.
David Rouzer’s endorsement comes from the NFIB SAFE (Save America’s Free Enterprise) Trust, the association’s political action committee, and is based on his record and positions on key small-business issues including health care, taxes and labor and regulatory issues.
NFIB has 8,000 dues-paying members in North Carolina representing a cross section of the state’s economy. Small-business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB will encourage its members to help turn out the small-business vote on Election Day.
