NFIB Endorses Assemblyman Don Wagner for Senate District 37

Date: February 24, 2015

The National Federation of Independent Business,
California’s and the nation’s leading small business association, today
announced the endorsement of Assemblyman Don Wagner for Senate District 37.

“NFIB is proud to support Assemblyman Don Wagner for Senate
District 37,” said John Kabateck,
NFIB/CA executive director
.  “During his time in the Assembly, Don has
stood consistently with small business and has had an exceptional record voting
in support of California’s job creators.
He has been a fierce advocate for creating more jobs on Main Street and
stopping higher taxes, more regulations and the terrible scourge of frivolous
lawsuits that typically hit small businesses the most. We look forward to
continuing to work with him on the issues that matter most to our member when
he is elected to the State Senate.”

NFIB has more than 21,000 dues-paying members in California
representing a cross-section of the state’s economy.  The endorsement comes from NFIB’s SAFE (Save
America’s Free Enterprise) Trust, the organization’s political action
committee, and is based on positions regarding key small-business issues
including health care, taxes, labor and regulatory issues.

Small business owners and their employees vote in high
numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members and
acquaintances to go to the polls.  NFIB
will encourage its members to help turn out the small-business vote for
candidates on March 17th.
