NFIB Commends Haley for Paying Down UI Fund Debt Early

Date: April 30, 2014

Ben Homeyer, South Carolina stare director of the National Federation of Independent Business, has released the following statement:

"On behalf of our members, I want to thank Governor Haley for paying down South Carolina's unemployment trust fund debt ahead of schedule. This is exactly the kind of fiscally responsible move we've come to expect from this administration. Small-business owners can feel confident knowing the debt is being paid off as quickly as possible. This is one less thing hanging over the heads of South Carolina's small-business owners."

NFIB/South Carolina's is the state's leading small-business association, with 4,000 dues-paying members representing a cross section of the state's economy.
