New Jersey Loses 26,000 Jobs Over Last Two Months

Date: September 01, 2015

A new report showing the state has lost 26,000 jobs over the last two months has small business owners in New Jersey raising their eyebrows.

The state Department of Labor and Workforce Development released data in August showing the state has lost that many jobs recently.

The silver lining for small business owners, according to the state labor agency: New Jersey’s unemployment rate fell for the second straight month in July to 5.9 percent, its lowest level since September 2008.
