Brad Jones, state director of the National Federation of Independent Business, released the following statement today concerning Tuesday’s elections:
“NFIB/Missouri helped elect a number of pro-business candidates to state and federal office on Tuesday. That includes 63 of 67 endorsed legislative candidates.
“On the federal level, all of NFIB’s endorsed candidates won, including U.S. Reps. Ann Wagner, Blaine Luetkemeyer, Vicky Hartzler, Sam Graves, Billy Long and Jason Smith.
“NFIB is the voice of small business in Missouri and in Washington, D.C. On Election Day, our voice was heard loud and clear. Tuesday’s victories were a big step toward our goal of promoting and protecting the right of our members to own, operate and grow their businesses.”
NFIB/Missouri is the state’s leading small-business association, with over 8,000 dues-paying members representing a cross section of the state’s economy.
