Meet our Delaware State Director, Jessica Cooper. Jessica initially joined the NFIB/DE team as your Member Support Manager in September 2012, and was promoted to her current role in January 2014. She is originally from Northern California where her family’s entrepreneurial spirit and business roots stem from. Jessica’s parents owned and operated a Baskin-Robbins ice cream shop, a second generation family owned financial practice, and a karate dojo. Growing up, Jessica and her brothers worked at all three family-owned businesses, giving her a firsthand understanding of both the unique challenges business owners face and the benefits businesses provide our communities.
Previously, Jessica worked for the American Motorcyclist Association as their National Grassroots Coordinator, where her issue-campaigns successfully influenced township procedures and changing a federal law. Her background includes working with volunteers, political campaigns and members of the U.S. House of Representatives.
Jessica attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she studied Public Relations and Political Science.
Jessica and her husband, Rob, live in Maryland and have family in Wilmington.
