Meet NFIB Pa. 30 year member Dynamic Ceramics

Date: June 04, 2014

Sarver, Pa., (June 3, 2014) – The National Federation of Independent Business honored Dynamic Ceramics on its 30th anniversary as an active member of NFIB.  The Beer family began and still leads a manufacturing company that produces industrial and electrical insulators, located in Sarver, Pennsylvania.

The company, which serves the construction industry, has grown from small startup in Darl and Leona Beer’s garage in 1980 to become a world-wide supplier of ceramic molded insulators.  The company moved into its current building in Sarver, Pennsylvania in 1986. Dynamic Ceramics is known for its quality products and exceptional customer service.

The leading small-business association’s Executive State Director Kevin Shivers visited the plant recently in Butler County to present a plaque (Attached photo, left to right: Kevin Gable of NFIB, Justin Oertel, grandson of Darl Beer, Kevin Shivers of NFIB, Terry Beer, Vice President and son of Darl Beer).

“Dynamic Ceramics took a risk 30 years ago joining a fairly new small business association”, said Kevin Shivers. “Today the company has grown into a respected leader in its field, and so has NFIB which represents 350,000 small businesses across the nation.”

NFIB is the voice of small business in all U.S. capitols and in Washington D.C.  Among the 15,000 NFIB members in the state of Pennsylvania, there are many multi-generational family businesses like Dynamic Ceramics. Many independently owned businesses face common concerns about state and federal tax policy, regulations and laws that are complex and costly to small business. NFIB is advocating on their behalf so they can grow and create jobs.
