NFIB Hosted Live Telephone Town Hall

Washington, DC (July 28,
2015)
– Recently, the National
Federation of Independent Business
hosted a telephone town hall with Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) for members in
his state. A recording of that call is now available online. Business
owners asked questions related to the senator’s stance on issues that they care
about including the burdensome federal tax code, Obamacare and EPA expansion of
water regulations.

“We’re very grateful
to Senator Vitter for taking the time to directly answer our member’s
questions,” said Dawn Starns, NFIB/Louisiana
State Director
. “As Chairman of the Senate Small Business Committee, he has
been a steadfast advocate for our members. In fact, just this week he
introduced legislation endorsed by the NFIB that would make it easier for small
business owners to comply with the federal tax code. The Senator communicates
with small businesses and then acts to help them grow and thrive.”
