Job Training Funds Available

Nebraska will receive a $4.4 million grant from the U.S. Department of Labor to help retrain unemployed workers. The money is earmarked for training workers who lost their job through no fault of their own for jobs in high-demand industries. The grant money may be used to create or expand partnerships with companies to provide on-the-job training or apprenticeships.
