What do small businesses need to know about EMV and the new chip cards?

Date: September 09, 2015

This year, chip cards are being introduced in the U.S. to
help prevent fraudulent purchases from counterfeit cards, which means that they
are arriving in your prospective customers’ wallets soon. Your business should
be ready to accept them.

EMV technology makes transactions safer for merchants and
customers by changing the way information is stored on payment cards. How does
it work? What equipment do I need and where do I get it? Why should I get it?

We’ll go over these questions and more with MasterCard
Executive Carolyn Balfany during a 30-minute webinar co-sponsored by
MasterCard’s public education program, Master Your Card. We’ll also help you
understand potential liability and how to take advantage of the additional
benefits upgrading technology brings.

Pre-registration is required and attendance is limited.
Questions will be taken for 15 minutes at the end of the presentation.  Register now!

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email
containing information about joining the webinar.
