Save Money by Learning the Latest on Employment Law

As it does every year, NFIB/Montana asks Personnel Plus Consulting Services, Montana’s most complete human resources agency, to host seminars throughout the state in order to bring NFIB members the very latest information on the laws and regulations concerning the operation of their enterprises.

NFIB members wanting to brush up on the latest in employment law are invited at a discounted rate to one of these day-long seminars led by Montana’s foremost expert on the subject, Jim Nys, SPHR, CSP, MPA.

Not knowing can be costly for your business. Topics at the seminar include:

  • Avoiding wrongful termination
  • Preventing workplace discrimination and harassment
  • Understanding time worked, overtime rules and exemptions
  • Complying with new rules on hiring
  • Auditing your employee handbook
  • The Affordable Care Act
  • Recent and proposed laws
  • Regulations and court decisions
  • And other subjects.

The cost to attend for NFIB members is $99 per person, $149 for non-NFIB members. Two or more people from the same NFIB-member organization get a special rate of $79 per person, $129 per person for two or more people from non-NFIB organizations. The seminars will be held on:

July 23 in Billings
July 24 in Bozeman
