In 1967 Glenn Black began a small water conditioning
business during the slow winter months when he wasn’t farming on his Gardners,
Pennsylvania property.
He visited local fairs and builder shows to promote his
services and there came a point where he had to scale back his farming
operation to handle all the water conditioning business that came his way.
In 1977 Glenn’s son Laverne joined the business full time
after graduating from high school. The company had grown from servicing a 20
mile radius to a 100 mile radius.
Laverne married Shirley and they had four sons.
Today all four sons work at Black’s Water Conditioning,
including Daniel, who is here today with his mother Shirley.
We want to honor Black’s Water Conditioning for their hard
work and success…and most especially for
remaining an NFIB member for 30 years!
