NFIB New York Needs Your Help! Support the Young Entrepreneur Foundation

Date: January 10, 2014

While you are busy running your business, NFIB is busy protecting your right to own, operate and grow your business.  In addition to advocacy, another way NFIB supports free enterprise is through our Young Entrepreneur Foundation scholarship opportunity for graduating high school seniors.

Since 2003, the NFIB YEF has awarded over 2,000 scholarships totaling $2.3 million.  The 2013 New York winners were Reed D’Agostino (Ballston Lake, NY); Cyrus Summerlin (Brooklyn, NY); Victoria Anchor (Cape Vincent, NY); and Megan Anderson (Long Eddy, NY)

This year, the goal in New York is to sponsor two $1,000 scholarships.   We hope you’ll join us this year in making an investment in America’s future.  Please consider a donation of $50, $100, or more to help a student from New York State continue their education, while still building their business.

What a great way to show your support for tomorrow’s business leaders today by contributing to the NFIB Young Entrepreneur Awards.

In order to complete the funding for the scholarship program, payment is needed no later than March 31, 2014.  The good news is that it’s tax deductible!

Thank you to those of you who supported the YEF in the past both as a contributor and as a nominator.  You may donate online at https://www.nfib.com/foundations/yef/contribute-to-yef/
