Hello NFIB members!
The Louisiana Legislature convened for its 2015 Regular Session on Monday, April 13 at noon. I will be advocating on your behalf to oppose legislation proposed that is truly harmful to Louisiana small businesses.
Some of these harmful issues include:
- Removal or reduction of the inventory tax credit
- Removal or reduction of the net operating loss deduction
- Mandated paid sick leave
- Mandated increase in minimum wage
- Mandated pay equality regardless of gender
- Union dues collection by the state
