Health Care - $2.2 Billion Needed

Governor Shumlin is unyielding in his support of his new health care system which will
cost more than $2 billion; which would be the largest tax increase in Vermont’s
history. Tax proposals have included as much as a 15% payroll tax (11% from the
employer and 4% from the employee).
