Here are dates voters should know for the upcoming election.
As summer draws to a close, Louisianans should get prepared for the fall election. Keep these dates in mind:
- Qualifying period: Sept. 8, 9, 10, 2015
- Early voting for the primary: Oct. 10 to 17
- Primary election: Oct. 24
- Early voting for general election: Nov. 7 to 14
- General election: Nov. 21
