Nationwide scholarship program for business-minded kids gets boost from
fundraising organization
Washington, DC (September 14, 2015) – The National
Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) Young Entrepreneur Foundation (YEF)
today announced a big boost from Alumni 4 America, a fundraising
organization focused on improving schools and educational programs across the
country.
“We are very excited by the new relationship and every
dollar that it generates will help us to promote entrepreneurship among young
people,” said YEF Director Molly Young. “Alumni 4 America and YEF
share a commitment to education, so this is a very natural fit.”
The NFIB Young Entrepreneur Foundation provides annual
scholarships to students in every state who run their own businesses. The
organization also provides free business curriculum to hundreds of school
districts across the country designed to teach high school students the basics
of starting and running a business.
Alumni 4 America partners with some of the biggest
consumer brands in the country on valuable discount cards and a new phone
app. Purchasers of the discount cards or businesses that join the
high value “Business Hero Network” (BHN) can pick a charity to receive
part of the proceeds through October 24th. NFIB will be
among only three educational charities to receive funding.

today where small businesses continue to meet the needs of their community,”
said Young. “There’s no greater freedom and no greater security than
